Tata Electronics, ASML explore making chip equipment components in India

Tata Electronics and ASML are exploring manufacturing advanced chipmaking components in India. The companies signed a memorandum of understanding on May 16 to boost local production. One person said, "Tata Electronics and ASML are looking into how they can strengthen their partnership by boosting localisation in India." Discussions remain early.
