Samsung bans smart TV apps that share users' internet connections with strangers

Samsung is banning smart TV apps that share user internet connections with strangers. Research published on Monday showed these apps turn TVs into tunnels for outside web traffic. A Samsung spokesperson said, "We are currently implementing strict platform-wide developer policies explicitly banning residential proxy SDKs," to keep customer networks safe.
