Representatives of social media platforms like Google, Meta appear before Par panel on IT

Representatives of Google, Meta, YouTube, and top government officials appeared before a parliamentary panel on Monday to discuss social media regulation. The meeting followed Meta’s brief restriction of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s Facebook post. Officials said that when rules are violated, liabilities are bound to arise for these digital platforms.
