China targets US firms and drone exports after FCC, Xinjiang actions

China’s Commerce Ministry on Wednesday barred seven U.S. entities from business and tightened export controls on drones. Beijing said the moves responded to recent U.S. restrictions on Chinese telecom and technology firms. Alfredo Montufar-Helu said, "This is a retaliatory move, and it's hardly a surprising one," as trade tensions grew.
