New microscopy method achieves angstrom-scale localization precision with one laser

MIT researchers developed U-STORM, a new imaging method that achieves angstrom-scale precision using just one laser. Published July 27 in Nature Nanotechnology, the study showed that engineered nanoparticles blink indefinitely, allowing scientists to visualize molecular structures clearly. Sam Peng said, "Our laboratory has long been interested in overcoming these limitations."
