State govt orders audit of Siddhivinayak trust accounts

The Maharashtra government ordered an audit of the Shree Siddhivinayak Temple Trust accounts for the last five years on Tuesday. This followed allegations of donation theft by temple employees. Trust head Sada Sarvankar said, "We have been trying to analyse why collections were lower earlier," after eight staff members got arrested.
