SIR: Migration, low awareness drive Karnataka's high ASDDO numbers

Political apathy, limited awareness of the Special Intensive Revision, and large-scale labour migration pushed Karnataka towards one of the country's highest draft-stage electoral roll deletions. Nearly one in five voters now falls under the ASDDO category. Permanent shifts account for 65.39 lakh voters, while 15.92 lakh are marked as absent.
