Manjalpur bypoll math: How BJP won but lost votes, Congress lost but gained vote share

The BJP’s Satendra Patel retained the Manjalpur assembly seat with a margin of 30,630 votes. While the BJP won, its vote share fell by 8.5 percentage points from 2022. Meanwhile, the Congress lost the contest but gained 18 percentage points in vote share as the AAP sat out this time.
