Centre rules out relaxation in states’ 40% funding share under VB-G RAM-G

The Centre ruled out any relaxation in the 40 percent state funding share for the Viksit Bharat–Guarantee for Rozgar and Aajeevika Mission-Gramin. In a written reply to the Lok Sabha on August 4, the ministry said this cost-sharing structure helps strengthen state ownership and ensures effective implementation of rural programmes.
