Yamuna flood safety wall to be ready by next March, Delhi govt tells NGT

The Delhi government told the NGT that a new Yamuna flood safety wall will be ready by 31.03.2027. The report said the 2023 floods reached 208.66m, causing major overtopping. Officials said design work is in progress, though the ITO barrage will stay under Haryana control for now to manage water.
