No clarity on scope of ‘End-of-Life’ vehicles, Volvo owner moves Supreme Court

A Volvo owner moved the Supreme Court on Wednesday seeking clarity on the scope of ‘End-of-Life’ vehicles. Senior advocate Rakesh Khanna said the regulatory lacuna has resulted in “undue burden” on passengers. The court previously modified its 2018 ban on 10 October 2018, 12 August 2025, and 17 December 2025.
