Jan Suraaj Party founder Prashant Kishor won the Bankipur bypoll on Monday, securing 64,151 votes. He defeated BJP’s Neeraj Kumar by 19,324 votes, ending the party’s long hold on the seat. Kishor, who declared a net worth of ₹198 crore, is now the only MLA from his party in Bihar.
