Kerala plans AI-backed disaster system tailored to sudden weather shifts

Kerala Chief Minister VD Satheesan on Wednesday said the state would roll out an AI-backed disaster management programme. He said, “It will lead to flooding or waterlogging even during moderate rainfall.” The government plans to desilt dams and rivers to improve water capacity and reduce risks from sudden weather shifts.
