SBI mops up $7.5 billion under RBI swap window

State Bank of India garnered $7.5 billion under the Reserve Bank of India's three concessional swap schemes until July 31. This amount accounts for almost 20% of the total mop-up by banks. SBI mobilised $6 billion via FCNR(B) deposits and $1.5 billion through foreign currency bonds, using its strong overseas network.
