GAIL India shares fell 5% on Monday despite the company reporting a Q1 FY27 net profit of Rs 4,665 crore. This profit nearly doubled from the previous year. JM Financial kept a 'Buy' rating, noting that "gas trading profitability is likely to remain robust for GAIL over the medium term."
