Bengal seeks NHAI takeover of 1,500 km of State Highways, high-level meet with Centre tomorrow

The Bengal government seeks the transfer of 1,500 km of state highways to the NHAI. A high-level delegation led by PWD Minister Dr. Ajay Poddar will hold a two-day meeting with the Union Ministry in New Delhi on Monday. They want to speed up road development through central funding support.
