Rajkumar Santoshi reveals why he accepted an 'adult' rating for Batwara: "I refused to let them cut my film."

Director Rajkumar Santoshi said Batwara 1947 got an ‘A’ certificate because the CBFC wanted to avoid cuts. He shared, “Hum touch nahin karna chahte film ko.” The makers accepted this rating to keep the movie intact. The film releases in cinemas on August 14, following recent blockbusters with adult ratings.
