Rural economy has become more resilient despite monsoon uncertainties: RBI Governor Sanjay Malhotra

RBI Governor Sanjay Malhotra said on Wednesday that the rural economy and agriculture sector have become more resilient. Better irrigation, farm mechanisation, and allied activities helped households offset income losses. "I think Indian economy, especially the agriculture sector, has demonstrated great resilience," he said during the post-monetary policy press conference.
