RBI MPC meeting review: Steady on rates, watchful on inflation, constructive on equities

The Monetary Policy Committee unanimously held the repo rate at 5.25 percent. The Reserve Bank of India kept a neutral stance as it remains watchful of inflation. While the committee raised the FY27 growth forecast to 6.7 percent, it noted that food-price risks and oil prices keep the outlook uncertain.
