FMCG, Retail, Food industry must improve consumer grievance redressal system: Consumer Affairs Secy

Consumer Affairs Secretary Nidhi Khare asked FMCG, food and retail industries on Tuesday to improve their grievance redressal systems. She said complaints rose fivefold in five years. The government plans to use AI and robotics to boost product testing, while simplifying quality standards to help businesses meet compliance norms easily.
